I missed out on so many Hip Hip Gems from the past, and A Tribe Called Quest was definitely an experience I regret missing out on. So much consciousness, so many beautiful samples, such good music. My moving forward is my looking back to music this powerful. I’m forever grateful to ATCQ!!!!!!

I was just looking at VH1’s top hip-hop songs of all time and Check the Rhyme was only #30! What’s even more crazy is that is the only Tribe song that made the list! Are they nuts? I went to a concert last summer where they performed. It was their first concert together in New York in 10 years! One Love Tribe, Keep it moving…
